Anyone know where the thread on on what drives coonhunters or something went?

I was reading this thread started by I think the editor of coonhound bloodlines on good coonhunters and their strategies or something, it was an interesting read but now I can’t find it. I don’t know if it’s just my phone or what but does anyone have a link or something or know where the thread went?

Peter once poofed it's forever. Lot of things happened 30+ years ago and when Sombody that wasn't even born at that time gets it and goes to telling it lets say it looses its true value. We didn't have social media back then. But always be carefull when Sombody 25 yrs old goes to telling you somthing happened 40yrs ago.

Poofed is the word we use when a thread gets deleted. It was a phrase coined by the infamous Llyle who has been banned from this site but I always found him unusually entertaining. His computers were always being taken over by some unseen power and to read his post you usually had to mentally decode them.
If you want to read on top handlers and their secrets to success why not start your own thread just include a disclaimer for everyone to keep it positive lol.
Dave I don't know about everyone else who reads here but I for one forgive you, we all go off the rails here and there.

Peter if you want info on starting dogs just listen real close to ole Hoss. You'll read all hype and bs on training and for a beginner it's hard to separate the wheat from the chafe but ole hoss uses the most common sense and logical methods that have worked for many years for myself. He doesn't mind sharing if you don't mind listening.

I do have an idea get 3 or 4 together ask them all the same question and then you can print their different views.

Exzample :

How many generations of your dogs have you raised ?

What are your requirements for you to push a dog in competition ?

Who influenced you most in breeding and training dogs.

I would suggest you pick people that have won multiple world hunts in different registrys.

Ill tell you folks one thing if there was a walk with Bellar book it would out sell wicks any say of the week , all the hunts I went too I drew Mr Bellar or one of his handlers and not one bit of trouble did we ever have they and I knew what a coon dog was and brought them to the hunts to prove it .

I was at most of those big hunts in the late 70's and the 80's I was a handler for one of the biggest sellers of used coondogs lol. We both lived in Texas. Never seen hobo but I didn't watch the bench shows lol. Those guys back then were packing heat I just usually hunted what we had at the time might not even have it the next day.

You don’t see me in here bragging about anything I’ve ever done. What you will see is me posting pictures and a few videos of my hunts. I’ve never been one to brag about my dogs. I’d rather someone else talk up my stuff than me, it means more when someone else talks up your stuff.
