Why I do it.

Pearl just turned a year old. I took her behind the house tonight and she treed her first coon. Not the greatest job, but she got the meat. When a young dog that was born on your place trees it's first one, it reminds me why I do it.

couldn't agree more ive got a young dog that just turned a year old and is out of my own personal dogs born here at my place. last night I had a bit of a moment he ran the best track ive ran in quite awhile and he sounded just like his daddy makes you proud when stuff like those moments happen

I'm really liking this pup. She turned 13 months old today and split-treed from her Mama tonight. Both of them had a coon. Pearl's was a 14 lb. sow which is a big sow for my part of the country.
