Magnetic Light
Is anyone using the magnetic barrel lights? If you are, what kind, do you like it, where did you get it? I'm having a problem getting my Helcat trained to keep beam on coon.
Thanks for your time.

I use a green laser sight. It's mounted on my scope. $19.95 from Amazon. You can shoot 'em from the hip with that thing.

The dot is no different than the crosshairs on a scope. I mounted mine to the side of my scope. The scope was zeroed at 35 yds. I aimed at something 35 yds and put the green dot on the crosshairs.
Scope & Laser?
Do you still need the scope? I was thinking pull scope off and mount laser to gun. I'm going to put gun in a vise, shoot a secure target then adjust green dot to bullet hole.
You don't need the scope. I seldom shoot a coon. I use my scope to get a better look at things I think might be a coon.
I was going to use a laser sight on my pistol I carry just for coonhunting until I found out they're illegal in West Virginia
