Rock River, Wy

Is there any coon hunters in that area? Are there even any coon in that area? If not where would be a good place to locate in Wy. for an old coon hunter?

Bob rock river is high elevation the coon hunting would be limited but there are some I would say they would be low in numbers.is there a reason you choose there around Torrington would be a lot better numbers of coon it's more crop oriented

Many years ago, I coon hunted at Douglas Wyoming. No timber except along the little creek bottoms. Full of coons. Bigguns. We treed 33 in 3 nights of hunting and 6 of them went over 30 pounds. 1500 miles is a long drive just to coonhunt but it was worth it. I would guess most of Wyoming is like that, just hunt the little creek bottoms.

I hunted along the Big Horn River near Worland. I was surprised how good the coon hunting was.
