indian lore
friend of mine had his neighbors bowhunting went in back of his house while walking awhile the dad looks over and there is a flat rock on top of it lays an arrowhead the boy wants to pick it up but they take pics of it then they pick it up and the arrowhead shape is outline on the rock that protected it from the weather do you think it was a marker for a trail or what thanks tim
More than likely the earth eroded over the yrs and the arrowhead settled on top the rock. Most Indian markers were carved into rocks and trees, or a stack of big rocks. The shape of the arrowhead will lend to telling you how old it is. Some can be as old as 12,000 yrs. Still cool finding an arrowhead while hunting..
