Lets Give UKC the credit they deserve this week.
We are entering into a week that host one of the biggest hunts of the year for UKC. Autumn Oaks is special for a lot of people as there are a lot of memories of past years and fun to be had this year. You have to Thank UKC for hosting this event which is truly a TOP Hound event. As we are constantly being bombarded by those not understanding dogs and the love we share with our dogs. Lets please all stay positive and work together to make this the Grand Event it is. Allen will have his plate full this week and my Prayers are that every bump in the road is handled to the satisfaction of everyone. All participants stay safe in their travels and Old Friends unite and make new ones. Please remember if you see a young person walking around looking at the pups or checking out the sites. Be friendly and courteous to them, as they are the future. A kind word from someone they are looking up to can be a seed planted that gives them a lifetime of enjoyment and they one day because of something nice you said. Could be a top dog person and handler in the sport.
I can't emphasize enough to take the upmost care of any dogs brought to the event. If we don't do the right things and police ourselves. Someday we will have someone else policing us and I am sure we won't like the outcome of that. Again, Safe Travels

Very good points. Needs to be more like this and more positive influence on everyone especially young ones if we want to see the tradition keep going
Great message!
Thanks to all involved.
