How old is the pup? Does the owner of the female plan on permanently registering their dog?

You would have to have your dog registered with 1 of our approved registries, such as the American Kennel Club or the Professional Kennel Club and then you can single register your dog with us. We would need a signed statement from the owner of the parent that is not permanently registered stating they have to intention of permanently registering the parent and that they give us permission to go ahead with the single registration. This signed statement would be sent in with your Coonhound single registration application.

If he registers the female while the pup is under a year of age then the litter can be registered and you can permanently register the dog into your name.
