Possible hunt scenario
3 dog cast, strike abc. A and B are treed, C slides out a little to the right and is treed. Trees closed, all dogs treed. It gets quiet at a and B tree, they pulled to the c tree. Minus on tree. So with the newer rule, a tree call would be accepted? They both go in for 125 if they wanted?
Newer Rule?
The way you would score IF dog C's tree was dead and you could 100% tell he was split and they covered the handlers shouldn't tree. If they do they are saying they believe their dogs are split from already dead C's tree. If you arrive and dog C's tree has a coon they are minused next available if not treed in. If they were retreed in they receive minus on whatever they treed for.
After 5 minutes not before at C's tree....a&b took a tree minus ....so all dogs aren't treed no more .
To wait until C's tree is closed and call a or b treed is just plain dumb.
Bingo!

I didn't say it wasn't dumb to tree on c. But I would have to accept it. Lol
Ab treed, soon as c is treed, both trees closed, I believe

Let's go huntin
They would both be treed in for 125 on dog c's tree and both minus their tree points. Dog C tree was dead when all dogs were treed in. Their strike will depend on if C has a coon.

I was wrong!
That's my bad! I was wrong they don't get minused tree only strike if off game is seen. Honestly seems to me like a dumb rule but that's how it is. If a dog isn't there in 5 minutes they dang sure don't need to be there after that!
