AmBully Single Registration
I have an American Bully that I purchased as a pup from a coworker. The coworker said that both sire and dam were UKC registered, but that the litter had not been registered. He did show me, in person, the pedigrees and registrations of the sire and dam, so I believe that they were genuinely UKC registered. At the time of purchase (when he was a pup) I was not interested in registering him. He told me that I could register my pup later if I changed my mind. Now he is about a year and a half old (DOB 1/11/2017) and I would like to register him. Unfortunately, I have not been able to contact the owner of sire and dam (I no longer work with him) and I only remember the call names of the sire and dam. I have read the guidelines for Single Registration of American Bullies. It seems like I can apply for registration. My question is, will my application be considered, with essentially no information about his lineage? Or is Single Registration more geared towards dogs with at least one verifiably registered parent, and information on that parent?
I am still trying to track down the old coworker to get the registration numbers of the sire and dam, but is it worth a shot to apply for Single Registration, if I cannot find him?
Thanks!
For this breed you would need to fill out one of our American Bully single registration applications, which you can print off our website. For this breed we do not require pedigree information. If you can give us the exact registered names of the parents and let us know they are UKC registered we can fill in their numbers.
