Kids say the dangdest things lol

My daughter and I were riding down the road this afternoon and no 11 year old boy is more ate up with coonhunting than her.

She asked if we were going to Plott Days. I said yeah if you want to go we are there.

She then said daddy out of all the dogs in the pens do you have a good one we can take. Lol

I said well sugar we just got these young dogs right now and they doing pretty good. I said Easy treed good last night and went hunting good.

She said well whoopty doo dad she just treed because the older dog did that’s not a winner.

She said if you going to win you got to have one buried in that country with two looking down.

I just laughed. At that moment I knew there was no doubt she watches and listens to dad.

That conversation was better than winning a cast.

That is awesome.

I took my nephew when he was 3. He had never been before. We were setting on the four wheeler and Robert Cole's dog came treed right by us. My Howler female was running a track a couple of hundred yards away. I asked what that dog by us was doing and he said she is treed. Then I ask what Howler was doing in there. He turned around, flipped his light in her direction and said "she is running a deer!" I didn't think we were ever going to stop laughing.

About 20yrs ago. I had my gson with me he was 5 at the time.As we have all had one we were in my old hunting truck called {floppin fenders} He was practicing blowin the squaller, that is why I wear hearing aids today he stopped long enough to ask, when you die can I have your truck? I said sure, he replied get a new one I deserve a better one. The first sign of entitlement. Thank God, He has a good job and don't need my truck

I bought an older female a few years ago that had been laid up and she treed a lot of empties ...third weekend grandson going with me he said can we go with Doug (my brother) tonight? I said why he said we been doin way to much walkin not to see any coon.....he was 7 then.

Billy you better hope she doesn't decide she wants a good plott dog that could get expensive lol

A friend of mine showed up at the house one evening wonting to go hunting .he had a couple guys that i didnt know so i took them hunting . sue was only about ten months old so i left her at home cause i didnt know if the othet guys was packing somethin rough .but i took them to thick coons and all they treed was slicks i had my five year old at the time with me and we got done hunting he looked at those guys and said i think yall lackin dog power lol

Billy, She sounds like my 11yr old son...

We rode mules the other night and he told me his mule could probably tree more coons than my dog. Said if we didn't have a dog any better than that we should just stay home. Was a bad night but WOW...lol
