Can you enter hunt with pup papers

I got young dog that I have dragged my feet getting papers sent off on. We have local hunt tonight I want go to but wasn't sure if I could enter with just pup papers.

That's new to me. I guess it started when they began taking conditional entries.

The rule change to start accepting puppy papers for entering a dog took effect July 1st last year.
