Performance question

Say I had a dog and earned 1 performance point in night hunts , then sold the dog and the papers were transferred. Who gets the performance monies earned for that point . The owner at the time of the points earned , or the owner at the time the checks are processed?

The owner at the time the points were earned. They used to be transferred with the dog in the beginning but that was changed.
