Track Speed

Im curious to know if there are any strains of BnTs that are exceptional at running track? The kind of dog that can strike in and run full speed to the tree and leave other dogs behind.

I CAN ASSURE YOU MY REPLY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PROMOTION OF STUD OR LINE OF DOGS, ETC.... I AM JUST ANSWERING THE QUESTION HONESTLY AND ACTUALLY GIVING AWAY A SECRET OF WHAT OUR DOGS ADVANTAGE IS IN THE HUNTS.
I'VE SEEN COUNTLESS TIMES THE SPEED VERSUS OTHERS HOUNDS IN THE HUNTS.
I DON'T COMPETITION HUNT ANYMORE, SO IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE TO ME.

Chris,do you remember a female I had named Happy?she was about the best track dog I have owned,and I'd say the best all around coon dog too. She could leave a pack,or peel left or right in a hot race,and majority of the time have a coon,not sure if you are looking for cold nose,or just brains enough to run what the cross, give me a shout sometime we will chat.....

Speed

I've seen some grandson's, of Set-Em-Ace that could run a cold track, just as fast as a red hot track. I saw a 10 year old dog, one night out run a 3 year old track straddler, by a hundred yards.

I've got some dogs with Luke in their pedigree.Luke and the Ike dog have a lot of the same breeding.

Danny Fancher im partial to the luke my male tank is a son of luke . my jade female is a daughter to little luke and my old ruby female daughter off tank and spot spot daughter of tank and jade whole lotta luke in her shes young but man what a bright future she has . might try to con bryan davis in using a straw of luke semen on jade or spotspot

Fastest I ever seen had light'n lace twice and her sister roubidux sue once. One speed cold or hot track. Frost snow or drought. Never needed any excusees.

Average mph for the night is 7. Something. Not sure if that’s absolutely track speed or hunting for her type tracts. That speed holds all night long usually. I rember last year she was around 6 mph average. Guess she got quicker or pickier on the coons she trees. She hunts just like ice did, ice was out of Ike.
Her brother, cable, hunts average around 4mph. Turn them both loose and they will be treed About the same time within a few min usually. Difference Sadie will be .65, cable 300 yards I guess that answers the question, Sadie hunts for the tracts she likes

Ike

Ike was the only dog iv hunted with that could consistently start a track with other dogs and leave them behind. He drifted better than any iv seen.

Amen. Old Zip was the fastest I've ever seen and I hunted with her a lot. She could make cold tracks sound like deer chases. Many nights I saw her catch more coon than she treed.

And she put it in her offspring too regardless of what she was bred to.
