Ukc License
I was going through some old papers and found a thank you letter from UKC signed by Steve Fielder, dated 1983 thanking me for 15 years of being a bench show judge. I became a Bench show judge in 1968 and also MOH. the same year. I dropped my bench license in the later 80's but still have my MOH license. Remember when shows had more dogs in a breed then most shows today have in the whole show. Many night hunts had over 100 dogs with 25% being grade dogs. 40 to 60 dogs was the norm for local hunts. Now anything 0ver 10 dogs for bench show and 20 for night hunt is rare. Times are sure changing, too bad!
Bob
Thank you for your many years of service both as a Bench show judge and as a MOH. Sad, to see the hunt and show numbers drop like that, unfortunately, there are way to many hunts [including $hunts] to attract large numbers these days. Dave
