Garmin

Friend has a alpha when on map screen you can see dog and track at 150 yards and less but when you zoom out to 250 or more you can’t see it this has done it before but I can’t remember how to fix it

Hit menu then restore defaults. Also clear out old tracks and trip computer would held. Update also would help keep it from coming back
