It's patchy on the ground. Shouldn't be a problem hunting, although it will be chilly. The grounds may be muddy. I live 60 miles north of the clubhouse and at a higher altitude. We had flurries this morning, but the ground has only a fresh dusting here.
The pond may have a skim of ice, but we should be able to hold the water race. The water level is certainly high enough and we should be able to break up any ice there, but the water will be cold.

Here's what the National weather service has to say:
Saturday A chance of light snow before 2pm, then a chance of snow showers after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 36. Northwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Saturday Night A chance of snow showers, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

The clubhouse has heat and there will be plenty of hot coffee, tea, and chocolate in the kitchen!

latest weather forecast

Today Snow before 2pm, then rain and snow likely between 2pm and 3pm, then rain likely after 3pm. High near 41. South wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of around 2 inches.
Tonight Rain likely before 10pm, then rain and snow showers likely between 10pm and midnight, then snow showers likely after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Saturday A chance of flurries before 8am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. Northwest wind around 11 mph.
Saturday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind around 7 mph.

Sounds like it will be chilly with a few icy patches on the ground, but the snow should melt off

The first RQE I worked as a UKC Field Rep was this one, in March of 1978. It snowed that night but we had some winners. Great bunch of folks up that way. I was in Clyde, New York last weekend for the New York Houndsmen Conservation Association banquet. Wish it would have been possible to visit the Sullivan County club again.

I'm on the Board of the NY Houndmen and usually go to the banquet with a full table full of club members. I was a little annoyed that there was a conflict this year because of when Easter happened to fall.
Our club is about 3 1/2 - 4 hours from Clyde. We only had one qualifier in the hunt and his cast was back at 11:03. Some dogs ran trash, and one potential qualifier ran out of hunt time, so there were plenty of us still at the clubhouse at the 2 am deadline.
It was pretty cold again this year--we had to break up the ice on the pond to run the water race, but we did that. We had some nice dogs qualify in the bench show and 3 registered casts in the field trial, plus one champion field trialer.
We were a little disappointed that UKC didn't send any buttons or bumper stickers this year. Everybody likes those things and was asking for them. I know those bumper stickers get UKC a lot of free publicity, and putting one on my truck has made friends for me in parking lots wherever I go.

We would love to see you at any of our events if you do have a chance to get out our way. We're doing a bluetick tribute to Minisink kennel's John Henneman on May 12. Should be well-attended!

The handler was Greg Dunlap of Millerstown PA. I didn't see the dog. Even though I handled the entry slips, I don't remember what he was handling--I was pretty busy. I believe he was also the owner and it was a Walker, but I don't remember the name, age or sex. I do remember the score, which was 425+, pretty high for our area.
