Black heads

I'm new to Walkers... are there any particular lines that throw dark black ears... or is that just a random trait in most Walker lines?

Clover bred dogs.

Thanks... while coloring is at the bottom of my list of importance... I kinda favor the looks of a houndy walker with dark black ears.

Clover dogs are mostly white with black head there are a few other lines that have black heads like hardwood bean line those have blanketback as well. I prefer the looks of a dog treed with a coon.
