Rick Jordan

I have been getting updates on my friend Rick Jordan from his wife Deborah. Rick's Health has been deteriorating for a few years now and he is at the point where is unable to get around and communicate very much at all. Rick and I attended many hunts together through the years and we became friends. Rick lives in Alabama and was my Partner on Logan and some other dogs. Rick got to the point in our phone conversations where he would no longer want to talk about the dogs and we would converse for a short call and that would be it. Please keep Rick and his wife in your prayers. Rick was a long time blueticker and sure was proud of Ol' Logan.

So sorry to hear the news of his health. I met Rick for the first time about 6 or 7 years ago at the Fall Roundup hunt in Flora, Illinois. Scott and Rick had Logan at that time and Rick really liked Logan. I found Rick to be just a pleasure to talk to. He had a vast knowledge of blueticks both present and past. The Fall Roundup hunt was held there for about three years in a row. I looked forward each year to seeing Rick there and speaking to him and listening to stories of past blueticks.

To hear Rick not feeling well. Have known Rick for probably 30 years or so. I hope he gets to feeling better soon.
