Russell has bounced around a little and spent the better part of three years inside a kennel without seeing timber. I purchased Russell and with kennel staleness, he was King of Hunt at the Walker Sectional in Montpelier, OH. He went on to finish to GRNTCH with a first place win in Broughton, OH on December 8th with the leaves off. Russell will be used in my breeding program for his traits of having a big houndy sounding mouth, but more importantly, a very well balanced hound that can drive a track. He takes his tracks as he comes to them and can work any track with putting Ricky at the end of it a high percentage of the time. He can hold pressure and isn't a complete loner, but will split his fair share of the time. He has a unique gene pool with some older blood crossed into some of the newer lines. Since I am going to super stake him for my own personal breeding program, I will be willing to offer him at stud to the public by private treaty. I am not going to push him or advertise him heavily. I have done that many years ago, and although I met many fine people, it just isn't my favorite thing. So, if you think Russell may be able to help your program, hold onto this post. UPDATE 1/21/19***After seeing the early results of his first two litters, several people have urged me to promote Russell more.

$200 performance/SS pups born July 5th

Russell has his first litter on the ground. 9 pups out of a HEAVY Sackett Jr and Nailor bred coon tree'er. Ginny is 9, and has reproduced titled hounds out of a very low # of pups. Priced low because it's his first litter.

Russell has far exceeded my expectations in the breeding pen. He has two litters on the ground that are both just shy of 6 months old. He has pups treeing out of both litters and I am getting good reports back on his pups from both litters.

I have just made another cross on him that I am really excited about. I have bred a direct daughter of Balls Stylish Hickory Nut Hairy to him. This is an all grand pedigree except for the dam of the pups. Will be born end of January.

Russell has two litters on the ground from two entirely different bloodlines. Both litters are almost 7 months old now and I have good reports from both litters. 3 have been running and treeing since about 6 months old.

Russell's father was the top reproducer in UKC for some time. Russell comes from an outstanding litter and has a littermate world champion sister.

Sky is a nice female that is a direct daughter of a great reproducing stud. Harry daughters tend to throw the right kind. Sky is a black headed, saddle back tight little built female.

Pups are due January 26th. I have two booked as of now, and they will be very affordable for this type of bloodline. Booking a total of 8 for now.
