Speaking of adding a can of mackerel everyday with regular feed correct ?? Have you had any success with this ? And can it be done year round as a routine daily ??

Pure beef fat

Or just feed a high fat content dog food.

Start with making sure dog is worm free and has a good dog house with plenty of straw then a good feed and increase the amount as needed.

Now that is a novel idea. To put weight on a dog, feed him more feed.

Sorry Mr Terrell, I just couldn't resist. I haven't been able to get out for a couple of days.

I got a chuckle out of that also. more feed leads to more weight gain.

Lol no problem. But you also know how some coon hunters are. Not saying that is the case here.
