I kinda hinted !!

On the thread with me and Corey's vidio our lights side by side in the woods everybody is trying to build the brightest light the leaf burningest flame thrower out there only thing is you can't find coons with them they are to bright and the wrong color I would like to have one a little brighter but as it is I am the one finding the coons with my old wheat head let's see what y'all got in the woods.

Tar that's why I prefer Boss hotspot. Is it bright yes but because I got the natural color light I can see the coons better. But I still think it would be nice to have a very dim setting. More adjustment would mean more money im sure. I haven't had many coons look at a light this year. I haven't broke out my old box light to try it though.

It's not so much them looking is the light color of the coons here the other night I could see the coon plain as day they didn't see it till I shot it out some of these trees are so tall that that white light just turns everything white up there and then you can't see the coons.

That is why Mike started dedoming his about 10,000 lights ago when the naysayers stated how bad an idea it was...The 5100 hundred color is a great color in the woods at night..The bright white works on the shed walls trying to make a sale.

I would just like to have that 5100 color led a little bit brighter with a cord so I can put it on my 21volt valley creek belt but I don't need all those switches red and green lights and stuff I am going to be a hard sell lol.

Not a hard sale at all..Sounds like a coonhunter request to me..Get in touch with Kevin sartain at extreme pro outdoors and get him to make you a cord with a jack and get the exterminator head with six leds or his pro plus head with four..The six has three reds and three whites or the four can be double of any one color and two more..Ask for the 5100 style color.

i use the older 5100 with old style bulb on my 21v prolite belt light. i have a super low setting on it and i find more coons that way than with the LED head on my other light. they wont look at the super white LED light.

Or you can call Tater at Dakota Lights and he will custom make a light however you want at an affordable price....423-519-7i01..

i have the new Bright Eyes and i like the blueish tint it has. Seems like coons pop out at you easily.

I have led and a wheat head. I might go back to the old school style. Idk yet might just mount the old style on my rifle. I have a bracket for it.

Oh my goodness...what blasphemy...Is that a fact or just your opinion? I bet that post gets poofed quick. You could destroy a whole industry and put hundreds of people out of work. How much did your two cell mag light cost?

They none of them look simple to me crappen lights stuck all the way around looks like a UFO or somthing to many things to go wrong. Maybe sombody just needs to come up with an led bulb the right color to go in a 5100 wheat head.

What's your drug of choice or you just delusionally stupid? 5100 are and always were a joke. Boss Hotspot probably the best. Wake up

Posted by yadkintar on 01-15-2018 09:24 PM:

The 5100 is a Cadillac compared to when you started out with a motorcycle battery with a rayovac head. One inch thick New York strip steaks with a baked patato is my drug of choice lol.

Tar

That 5100 head is finding coons that them LEDs can't right now and the 22 is proving it.

Tar

Over 50 plus years of coonhunting and using about every light on the market, I agree with you regarding the 5100 head being the best light to find coons. We use a red lense filter on the brighter lights to get coons to look. I agree with your drug of choice, its hard to beat a thick NY strip with a baked potato. Let me say that Tar is nobody's dummy, he is smart as a fox. You might just learn something if you pay attention to him. Dave

I went back to the 5100 last year, after several led lights

Posted by hillbilly56 on 01-15-2018 10:22 PM:

subject on lights over the yrs i started out with a carbide light carry a 3 battery flashlight thought i was in heaven when bill boatman came out with a 6 battery deal then you have some that won't look at all so you need a bright lite that will lite a tree like daylight jmo

Posted by sleepy head on 01-15-2018 10:27 PM:

More than likely ill probably go back to the Billy Boatman suit case style of light
