Bruce/ Garmin Alpha for dummies?

Bruce i need the book for dummies on the garmin alpha. I just ordered the bundle from you and got the subcription for birdseye and my wife and i cant seem to figure out how to get in on the alpha. I should have been smart and ordered it with the card setup and installed lol. We have a hp computer with windows 10 but have sattelite type internet service. Any help on step by step process is much appreciated. Man its sad to have the good stuff and not have enough sense to use it😂😂.

.

There are several step by step instructions already printed out on the internet and also on You Tube..Try to google it.
Just have to down load the base camp program from gramin and get use to how it works.

HELP BRUCE

BRUCE,

i just installed the garmin 6.80 update on my alpha and now it will not gain satellite signal, the bars stay at 1 or 2 bars and red , i tried plugging back into garmin express but it said it updated successfully, any ideas??

Posted by Bruce m. Conkey on 01-10-2018 01:56 PM:

.

I know what I would do but I don't know if this is the correct answer. First of all, I personally use Garmin Express only for DriveTrack, watches and other fitness products.

For all gps handhelds and training collars I use WEBUPDATER.

I would download web updater and run that program on it. It will probably tell you it has the latest update but you can tell it to upgrade again.

Bruce,

The webupdater re-install fixed the problem, re did the update using that service, put the alpha in the window and bam, picked up satellite service. Thanks again!!!
