Diamond puppy food 31-20
Diamond
I have never liked any product produced by Diamond but I have heard that a lot of people do. I don’t wanna take the chance with it. Had a buddy in Ny have a hound die due to Diamond products. But that was a long time ago. Hey give me a call sometime.

my pups have always done good on purina puppy chow strait of the shelf at wally world . be raising them for 40 years .lol
I've never Fed a diamond product but I was looking for a good food for pups and noticed on the dog food advisor that Purina puppy chow got 1.5 stars and Diamond puppy food got a 4 star rating, so I was just checking on here for experienced puppy raisers, to get a few opinions.
I've fed Diamond Natural puppy food to my last couple pups. They look awesome, put weight on at a steady rate and shine like they've been wax shined.😁
I have fed Diamond Hi-Energy for close to 50 years. Was buying it when it cost less than 10 dollars a bag and also by the pallet load at a time (spit with a friend). Feed it to weaning pups and adult dogs. Never have I had a problem. If you feed it and get loose stools you are feeding to much.

Thanks for all the information, it's been very helpful.
If you are Happy---
with what you'er feeding your adult hounds, why not feed it to your pups??
I feed High Standard 26/18. Does a very good job for me. In the off season I cut back and now we are running hard and they are staying in great shape.
When the pups are about 2 weeks I soak it and make a mush. The female is on a self feeder and when they get about 4 weeks they start to eat out of the feeder and I'm real happy with the comments buyer's say when they pick up their pup.
You have to be careful feeding "puppy" feed because I feel most are "to hot". What I mean is the pups are growing to fast and the last 10-15 years you hear a lot more hip and leg problems then before.
Good luck.
