Weather in Orangburg Next Week.
I know these temps may be a heat wave for some of you but for me it looks like a cold Grand American. Especially with the wind at 15 mph on Thursday. If you come by to visit you will find me by the Heater! Anyway if your driving through some bad conditions to get there. Take it easy and stay SAFE.

Richard I recall guiding your cast on an ALL RED DOG HUNT at Darlington around this time of year several years ago....It was in the teens and I put youall on ...THE BEST SPOTS I HAD....Not sure who owned the dog but we made couple bad trees and finally 2 dogs worked a bad track across the frozen beaver pond and treed one of my den trees, you could walk inside and thats the only coon we saw.Think you won the hunt.....

James, bad as my memory is I still remember. Dog was Mello Yellow owned by Rex Griffith. She was a pretty nice female. You have good spots and know every inch of it. I hope that the coons aren't all laid up at night and coming out in the afternoons.
I remember one year at Orangeberg it was so cold the water in the swamps was frozen solid and you could walk across the top of it but it was very slippery.
Wouldn't be the Grand American if it wasn't sleeting or snowing!! lol

Worst one for me anyway was 5 or 6 years ago and it was about 30 and the wind was blowing about 30 MPH with higher gust. The small tents were scattered everywhere. Last year the wind did a good job of scattering small tents also.
