Performance Sire No Online Registration

Is there no online performance registration for coonhounds anymore? If not I guess mine won't be in the performance program, because I am not paying double tomorrow.

I was searching all over on the new website myself and found no information at all about the performance program. I was thinking about getting my English hound in the program, I gues its ok I would probably be waisting my $$ seeing I'm just a pleasure hunter and people now a days' want title's instead of coonhound

I am with you, it was so much better when they had it as an online option. I personally feel that more thought should have been given to the users and what options they use when building the new web site. From other post I have been reading they have known it was missing for sometime now. Maybe never an option again?

Decided to pay mine up last Friday the 29th. Still not sure why, but that is another story. Called at 10 AM or so and requested a call back. Phone rang about 15-20 minutes later. Gave the dog's registration number along with card info. Done by 10:30. Seemed easy enough to me. I then moved on with my life and real problems that needed attention.

For some people, myself included, 30 minutes is a very long time for something that can take 30 seconds, not to mention it has to be done during business hours and not on the weekend when that 30 minutes is easier to come by.

Check out post by Tim Rhoads on this thread. That might work for some. The mail runs 52 weeks a year. Postmarked no later than 12/31/17. I agree that email would be fine also. That just does not seem to be an option. Not sure how many Perf Sires there are for 2018 but all that did get enrolled had to do it through means that UKC has available. UKC is not my registry of choice but I sure am not going to make it there fault if I did not get my dog enrolled. This must be what Facebook is like. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I for one am not saying it is UKC fault. I am just saying on-line payments should be an option. This year has been crazy for my family and time got away from me, no ones fault, life just happens.

It will be interesting to see if the Performance Sire numbers are down for 2018 because of this. Very poor way to improve and promote the Program.- imo.

You couldn't do it online last Dec either.

I agree they do need to fix it back to where you can do it online.

I was told by a wise old coonhunter that's won several world championships the other day that in 10 yrs or less the only program that ukc will have is the peakeepoo program all they got to do is eat , sleep and dookie and those people pay the heck out of those fees without a gripe.

I never got interested in the program my self because I didn't own a hound worth investing into it, but now I do and couldn't find any information about the program or a place to sign up a sire. Ow well I guess I saved $$ and UKC lost out on another customer. I didn't plan on breeding a bunch of females with my hound, but it would of been nice to have the opportunity and with out being a performance sire I dont think I will breed any at all. Maybe next year

HOBO, I did it on line last year (Maybe before December?). I also registered every litter on line last year as well.

It's just a bad business decision to make something harder than it should be.

I am as big a UKC supporter as there is but that was just a bad move to make it as difficult as they have.

I tried to do it last year online Dec 31, wasn't able to. Looked for it again later and it still wasn't there.

I agree it NEEDS to be put back.

I reg all my litters online its quicker for sure.

True

It may keep those that didn't mind either way from doing it AT ALL.

It makes it much harder for those that are very busy.

It is their program, they can do what they want.

That doesn't change the fact that it was a very, very bad move.
