HSUS Ad on UKC Forums ?

How Ironic (and VERY Inappropriate) !!

At the bottom of each page of this UKC Forum Coonhound page, the HSUS has a color banner-ad that states:

"BE A HERO FOR ANIMALS. DONATE NOW".
Then you see the Logo for the Humane Society of the United States.

Talk about nerve...

Adds you see probably aren't determined by this web page. My wife has been shopping for shoes, so every web page I visit has adds for shoes. You might try clearing your cookies, cache and history out.

pretty sure those are put on there by your internet provider ,,,,mine has as add for a insurance agent in my town...so its not UKC doing this and they have NO control over it!!

My ad right now is Priceline for Lavonia, GA where I sent my son for World Hunt. These are pop up ads usually geared toward your searches and internet interests, our phones and computers are continuously spying on us. I sometimes get ads on things I've never looked up but have spoken of that day it is a search engine thing aka Google it's pretty creepy. Turning off the microphone deleteing cookies and disabling other aspects of your phone like location when you are not utilizing your maps can help.These ads are not put on here by UKC.

I think you are right, it must be by my ISP, because after I wrote that, a new ad appeared, and the HSUS one disappeared.

I knew that the UKC wouldn't have done it; I was thinking that the HSUS managed to worm their way onto the site, somehow, and plaster one of their pleas to "send us money"...

Thank you for your suggestions on clearing the cookies, cache, and history. Sounds like something I should do !!

When I came back on the message board this time, there were NO ads at all...
