Best way ?

What's the best way to pick a red pup out of the litter ? What should I look for ? What sets one apart from another ? What's the qualities to look for in a pup to be a good tree dog ?

Picking a tree dog

The smallest pup in the litter, preferably with some black markings on it. They stay hooked.

Pup

The one off by their self nose to the ground doesn't come when called doesn't care about other pups or what they are doing chances are you'll have to pull them off a tree .

There’s no way you can tell anything about how the pup will perform when it’s that young. Pick them up play with them and take home the one that picks you
