Does it get any better
I have been coonhunting since i was about 10 years old and finally decided to raise my own litter of pups. I have 4 boys from 7 to 14 years old that had to have their own coondog so we kept 2 males and 2 females. We have let them tag along on a few hunts and they opened a few times on a couple tracks. Saturday night took them out and they split treed twice from their parents once about a hundred yards in a cedar thicket couldnt find the coon and once about 50 yards with the coon. These pups will be 4 months old on thursday. I think ive got 4 boys with coon fever and i think i`ll remember this season for a long time
That is AWESOME Mr. Wise. Bet it was hard to tell who was more excited, the 4 month old pups or the boys, LOL

Mr Wise sounds like you're gonna have an forgettable season making family memories every night u take your family out hunting with there fine hounds. That's how coon hunting should be making good memories friends and family . Instead of someone trying to cheat one another for a little slip of paper. Good luck with ur boys an there pups this season Mr Wise.

Thank you Mr West i agree, i`m sometimes guilty of forgetting what really matters but a good night in the woods with these youngins helps you remember.
