Sorry, but have to head home this morning. I was really looking forward to tonight but duty calls. My wife had an auto accident and is all bruised and banged up. It looks like my travels will be curtailed for a bit.

Sorry About Wife

Richard sure hope your wife is ok. Sage is still doing good. Mike

Posted by Richard Lambert on 11-11-2017 11:13 PM:

Mike, she is ok, just sore. Keep up the good work with Sage. That appears to have been a pretty good cross.

Posted by Richard Lambert on 11-12-2017 01:55 PM:

Did y'all see any coons or did they all run and hide when they saw you coming? The last I heard, it looked like a parade headed into the woods.

Posted by Richard Lambert on 11-12-2017 07:47 PM:

I just talked to Jared. It sounds like I missed a real good time.

Posted by jdgher on 11-12-2017 08:23 PM:

Richard

Hey Richard, sorry you couldn't be there. We had a lot of everything. Lots of food to start, lots of people and hounds of all ages, 4 side by side off road machines with dog boxes.
Everyone was hunting that great big bottom south of town. Hounds going in different directions followed by their handlers (sometimes handlers went the right direction) It was pure confusion sometimes. Nobody seemed to care though, just show up at a tree and help look for the coon. If your dog wasn't there, then probably someone else's dog was, that needed a handler. .
Treed some coons, some dens and some empty trees. I didn't bring a dog, so no possums or off game were bothered.
I'm pretty sure everyone had fun. I did for sure.

I look forward to this hunt. It is such a great time and this year didn’t disappoint. Garrett, Dad, and My self had an awesome time. I don’t think anyone really cares if we tree Coons or not cause we have such a good time. We did tree a few Coons and saw some good dog work. As always the food was good and company even better. Thanks guys!!
