First cage coon

Got a 5 month old male and female out of Skuna River Bart and Skuna river fred female. they saw their first coon on monday afternoon, and went crazy over it. How should a young hunter start running him. Throw a collar on him and run with another dog? Put him on a lead and walk him to the tree? Leave him in the box to get used to it then start runing him?

a walker dog should run tree its own Coon at 6 months old put him in the woods that's what sets them apart from other breeds got friend that hunts leporads he hunts them for 2 years before they will tree I would quite before I Hunt dog 2 years before it tree
