Subject change

I don't believe Northern or Southern dogs are any better or worse than one another. That's just my opinion. I do believe that dogs are dogs and even the best have moments when they will remind you of that. I think we all can agree that weather, terrain, and coon populations all have an impact on how dogs operate and perform. So in an effort to change the subject let's hear about the dogs all over the country that take to these changing variables better than most. What dogs throughout time and into the present day have proven they can adjust to whatever variables they face and still perform at a high level.

After all, we are supposed to be striving to breed better dogs. Maybe we can't see the forest for the trees so to speak. What if treeing, trailing, locating, nose, speed, and so on, are just by-products of a much larger genetic make up? What if we've gotten so focused on these single traits that we've foresaken the most important aspect of our dogs? There adaptability!

Let's hear about those dogs that stand out in your minds because they catch game win it's hot, cold, thick, thin, mountain, swamp, and everything in between!
