Easy Fix To This...

Let's have two world hunts... one for the northern hunters and one for the southern hunters.....

Simple fix, that way the northern hunters can rush and breed to the Northern World Champ and the southern hunters can rush and breed to the Southern World Champ.....

I'm surprised UKC hasn't come up with this idea already....

Breeding to anybodys world champ don't interest me !! But I would breed to hobos bench show dogs they tree coons and look good while doing it.

You can't edit those good mouths they got and I know they got to tree more than one coon a night a mile deep or you and me won't feed them. And that's a fact not fiction. Lol.

I like this idea.. then take the 2 champs and have a hunt off on their home turfs like the NBA playoffs. Best of 7 lol!

I like that idea!. Save on shining time and a lot less circle trees. I might be able to talk Elvis in to coming out of retirement. Lol!!

World Hunt

What they really need to do is have coloring books, a story teller, and then give all participants a Wldntch title even if they got outside of the lines. I remember when we had the world hunt down here in 2012. There were plenty of whiners then also. We got one of those rare cool fronts for Louisiana in September, it was like 85 in the daytime. We had some dead casts to come in so naturally it was the worst hunting one could have been in. You must keep in mind just because a dog get through the zones it doesn't make that particular hound a consistent winner. The one that can make things happen on a regular basis and makes the fewest mistakes is the one that will generally come out on top. We didn't kill a single coon out of the spots we had and urged others to do the same. We did this so there may be extra coons to tree Congrats should be given to the host club each year. I'm not knocking UKC one bit, but they give very little input to the world hunt. They do however check out the safety aspects of the location. Then the host club is tasked with finding judges, guides, and extras of each. It's a lot of work, trust me.
