Many thanks for the play by play tonight. She injected some humor at just the right time to distract us from the time delay updates. I really enjoyed her sense of humor and the play by play. Many thanks to UKC, Georgia and the Clubs, guides and judges for putting on this hunt. Dave

I wanna know who stuffed a dead chicken in Allen's backpack to distract the gators from everyone else. He hunts redbones and just seems like a team player lol.
Or maybe he didn't know it was there haha

Great job, express my thanks to the entire Staff for the hard work it took to put on this hunt and keeping us informed with the results. The play by play while time delayed was entertaining. I really enjoyed the whole hunt. ( from my easy chair ). Dave

BTT. Just want to see something positive at the top of this forum. I am really tired of all the negative posts. Problems exist in all phases of one's life. How you deal with the problems is what seperates the Winners from the Losers. Make a difference, do not become part of the problem. Nuff said! Dave

Isn't Allen the boss? Does Krystal still have a job this morning?

Thanks for the compliments on the Play by Play, guys! Makes it a little more worth it to be the one who misses out on being on the cast. Lucky for us all, I do still have a job and will hopefully continue to keep everyone updated with the Play by Plays. Bad cell phone service makes it tough to keep things interesting. Takes hard work on both ends to make a good one. Allen is good at getting me the information I need while in the field.

Also, thank you for everyone's appreciation towards the event overall. This staff works HARD at this event...we don't get much sleep, but it's totally worth it. These events are a blast and we love seeing everyone else enjoy themselves. This year's club was PHENOMENAL when it came to helping us out. I can't express enough appreciation towards them. The city was incredibly inviting and kind as well. I truly did enjoy this year's World Hunt and Show. Thanks everyone!

Thank you Mr. Richard for the comments and compliments. It was a tough weekend for treeing coons. The heat and conditions obviously played a part and it didn't come easy for any hound. If the finals would have been on my home turf we probably wouldn't have seen the norm either, in terms of scores. Not when it was 90 degrees at home as well. Congrats to all the owners of those hounds who got it done!

Carder, consider this. Just before we parked the trucks, we had crossed a bridge that covered a creek. At least that's what we would call it where I come from. We parked the trucks and walked back to this creek and cut the dogs. They swung down through there a ways and got treed left-handed-ish. Two trees. After scoring those trees we cut them again and this is where they hit this water. You could hear the dogs splashing in it and I assumed it was that same creek we had cut them on the first turn loose. Heck, they weren't 50 - 75 yards in front of us. Now I know the guide said we would be hunting off of Lake Russell but I certainly could not see any openings that would suggest it opened up to this lake. I guess the dogs were simply working the overflow area of the lake that leaked into the woods. More of a swampy area I guess. So, forgive me for misrepresenting the body of water they were working! Lol. At the time, It thought it might be best to correct myself before it got me in trouble later on. Nonetheless, it was kinda funny and Krystal saw fit to throw me under the bus.

After walking 4.5 miles on that cast, they had me so turned around I lost all sense of direction other than right, left, in front of us or behind us. Haha.

Allen/Krystal

You are very welcome for my compliments, they were well deserved. PLP was appreciated by myself and others. I really enjoyed the humor interjected by Krystal during the delay/s and I understood the signal issues. Thanks again to all you guys for a job well done. Dave
