Yes, big congrats to Jerry Carter and Troy Saylors on getting Chalk Eyes to High Scoring Bluetick and 6th ovorall at the 2017 world championship. I'm proud to be able to call these 2 guys (and even whitey) old friends and couldn't be happier for them!

Thanks Mark! I have never had a chalk eyed bluetick in almost 30 years of breeding them but I got two out of the surgical insemination to Clear River Diamond Jim. I had breed to Jim years ago when Jim Smalling owned him in OK and did not see any this trait. Four out of 7 pups in this litter have the cowlick on their neck which I have seen in my dogs in the past due to the Daisy female, the two generation all dual grand champion that I purchased from Robert and Melanie Hittson. I am keeping the two chalk eyed pups, not because I am a fan of them but because one of them is the only male and the other, my wife fell in love with. (This female pup also has the cowlick to go with the blue eye).
Adios,
Gary
