Couple buddies reminded me real quick of a few things I had said about old blood yesterday.

We were talking dogs and discussing their morning hunt. I then told them I would be getting a pup this week whose dad had died about 8 or 9 years ago. First thing both of them said was, I had told them not to go back to old blood as there was plenty of new blood that works well.

Yep, I thought in for a minute and they were right. I did say that. Oh well what the heck. Can't a guy change his mind.

I think Tar, Conrad, Chewbach and HOBO have been an influence on me.

I think it's time for an update on your bone pup Bruce. I need a pup in a couple weeks I can start slow walks in the woods I love pups.

Tar our hunting went from some of the best I have had in my life earlier this year. To some of the worse a man can endure.
We were extremely dry early in the year. Made the woods easy for us and the dogs to get around in. Then the rains started and haven't stopped. I said all that to say that other than hauling him around in the truck some I haven't had him to the woods. He is growing and is a large dog. Can't complain about his actions in the yard. He is loud but I am not certain just what he is going to sound like yet.

No complaints about his actions and interactions with other dogs here when they are in the 4 acre lot which is at least 5 times a week. Smart and energetic. Just hope he has the same desire to find a coon that I have for him finding one.

l like them showdogs, they do all they can do to show you a coon.

3 mnths old. good looking other than a curly tail.
I guarantee it to eat and crap.
Its yours if you want it if we can find it a ride.
if it aint treeing coons by itself at 6 mnths you know what to do with it.

tar you cant go wrong with a pup from HOBO. Everything he ever brought here was real easy to look at and they all treed raccoons.
On the downside though, I don't think I ever saw one tree a possum. Don't mean they cant, just I never saw it.

He sounds a lot like his sister that I have.

She's a big, rawboned hussy, smart as a whip.

Ears like a Black and Tan.

famous last words .lol i have a 4 year old a 15 month old and a 12 week old puppy .all were the last one .lol

Got the dog hauler on the way. Made me put up $1,000 for repairs to dog box ahead of time everybody always trying to gouge ole tar.
