Hello , good luck with zero . Where's he at now ?

Posted by AB Sanders on 07-17-2017 02:49 AM:

He's in northwest Arkansas

I have one out of zero and Alice. Very nice gyp that's going to finish into a nice hound and do her share of winning

zero

That's great, how old is she?

Posted by BRK_Smoke on 07-19-2017 06:28 PM:

19 months. I had zero up here in Ohio hunting him for Casey for a few months last summer. This was his pup from the litter that he gave me if I went and got her from Glista's

zero pup

What kind of track and tree dog is she and is she independent?

Posted by BRK_Smoke on 07-19-2017 09:29 PM:

Very independent, very very accurate. Great track dog. She's a good tree dog that sometimes stays and sometimes goes on. Once I get that fixed she has all the other tools to win

Zero pup

I had a littermate to the one Kenny has but unfortunately lost her to the road. Had some friends and family at the house for a fish fry and out of all the folks in an out of dog pens she found a way to push the gate open and got killed by a car before we could catch her. She was under a year when that happen but she was the kind that made it seem like a long day at work waiting for the sun to go down.

She was natural starting, naturally independent and would rather run track then tree but when she looked up she wasnt going anywhere. She was what I look for in a young dog an everything considered probably the one of the nicer ones I have had the chance to fool with. I dont want to blow too much about her, if Ida been able to give her a lil more time she would have found a way to aggravate me and would have had many holes like all the rest of em but at that age I just wasnt able to see many of them yet. She was ugly as sin, white n black...ugly head and a real high pitch mouth(didnt sound like a hound) but you could hear her along ways an the way she sounded coming on the tree made me forgive her for the lousy pitched mouth.

If you want to know anything more about her just give me a call. I hunted with her quite a bit for her age, been with one of her littermates an have hunted with thier Sire.

Good luck with him

Did Casey quit hunting? I enjoyed seeing the success he was having for a few years there with his blue dogs.

I have no clue but I think he's just got a lot of irons in the fire at the moment

Zero pup

If you get a litter on the ground from zero I want to get a female. I have a boomer male and I think it'd be a good cross down the road!

Posted by AllenSanders on 08-01-2017 05:51 AM:

Zero pups

I bred him to one female and they should be due around the end of August or first of September.

Posted by AllenSanders on 08-01-2017 05:53 AM:

Nice females

I'm offering him at stud if anyone has a nice female they want to breed to him call or text 870-448-7199

Too many irons in the fire; work 60 hours a week, 2 young kids, building two houses in 2 states ( not work related) and trying to coon hunt PLUS

I spent too much time chasing $ w Zero and neglected the training needs of my young dogs.. Come fall, when the gators go in, I'll do what I love best- put a young dog in the woods and watch him progress...

If I ever run another one like Zero, I'm going to give away all my young hounds- there's no way to do both. This time I made the choice to let someone else run or stud zero.. his winning speaks for itself and Florida is on the corner of the country, not very centrally located.

Ive got a male here off Zero and Barker creek rain
(ponchos sister). Little over a year old.

Good mouth, naturally tree minded. Real nice for the time he has in him (not much)

Me and Johnny Yoder kinda co-own him.

I have a good feeling you'll be seeing his name- Yoder named him "Uncle Cracker".

I also have 3 hounds off zero that are over a year old in the pen at home that have never been to the woods.....

On a side note, a lot of zeros pups do have what I call a squall bawl, change to chop on tree.

I personally love the higher pitch in competition hunts because it carries so well.

I also like the old low coondawg bawl, but prefer that for a tailgate and ice chest night

Is he a really fast dog with a lot of endurance, and tough feet, how much does he weigh?
