ehrlichiosis
Bought a female that had it last year and was treated with Doxy. Looked great through the winter and extremely accurate. Since it's warmed up she has been missing a lot. Beats a track to death then gets treed after she can't move it.
Those that have dealt with it, is this the experience you've had with dogs that have came down with ehrlichiosis?
And and all input on this is appreciated.

treat for 14 days
It comes back as soon as weather warms up.Might as well plan to give doxy every April for 14 days.Been threw it myself.
X2 on what everyone else is saying
Had the exact same experience myself. Definitely need to treat again. It stinks they are stuck with that nasty crap for life.

Man, it never goes away. I don't think they fully ever recover. You get glimpses of what you want to see then the after effect. I have treated it twice in same dog and looks like I will be again soon. It is a pain to deal with.
Give Doxy for 30 days and have her thyroid checked. Google Chronic Erlichia and read up on it.
