Scratch question

I was on a night champion cast the other night and me and another guy are struck and treed in and the time runs out on the tree so we go to them and as were handling our dogs another dog comes into the tree and this dog is only struck in and the Guy handles his dog we shine the tree and Theres a possum i know me and the guy thats struck and treed in gets scratched but what about the dog that came into the tree

Nothing , the hunt was over he did not tree on the opossum before you handled your dogs

dont get the magazine this is definitely a bullcrap loophole, not only did the dog tree a possum he was late doing it and did it right in front of its handler!!!! Talk about bottom of the barrel!!!!!!

The more i think about this the stupider it gets!!!! So a dog comes in and barks at a coon after judge is at tree and it gets minused! But if that same dog comes in on a possum no punishment!!!!! Holy freaking cow, is there not something wrong here?
