kennel ideas?

Does anyone have any suggestions on a kennel set up? I have bought my first house and have my dogs on dirt and due to all the rain we have had it is a sloppy mess. Just need a few ideas to help this problem. I want something simple, low maintenance, and keep my dogs out of the elements.

These are my home built kennels, they both now have metal roofs on them. The lumber was free so that is why it is not all treated.
