Looking for next year
I have plans to title a female this year she's being pushed hard and doing outstanding i am in Florida shes is trash broke and pressure tree dog and sits back safely hunts with or without company and puts out good mouth . After i get her titled I'll be looking for a male that will cross good on my female she is Rocky top jet x Kentucky Kate . What i need added to her is more speed and drive extra mouth wouldn't hurt .i wouldn't mind linebred Rocker but open to options thanks for any input .
I have the male littermate to yours sounds a lot like her needs 2 more to grand and when I breed him I'm looking for the same thing you are just that little more drive maybe a little more track mouth and a little more volume Taylor and I are the ones that titled out ky Kate she lived here in Michigan till she went with mark to get bred to jet. If I was you I'd breed her to aftershock your female is double Kate bred just like Bree and I own 2 females out of Bree and shock with Shane and I kid you not she is everything I'm looking to breed into my jet x Kate male. There's a few guys with seman stored on him Shane shable and a few others I'd get in contact with and see what kinda deal they'd give ya pm me if you can I'd like to see some videos of her

Next year
I work week to week married and 4 kids but I'm not above living out the mini van a few day's at a time . I am dedicated and will suffer for things to work out i have a female that i will be breeding to Tim's male without a doubt when the time comes i have 3 males within 4 hours of me good males i will hunt with them all before i jump to conclusions. I am very particular i have exactly what i am looking for here at the house but i believe there is a better cross to be made . I could breed to Earl Bellmore John 3:16 off John Henry i have hunted with him good mouth get deep dog but i still belive there is a better cross. And i will make the best cross that i possibly can .maybe I'm too picky or expect too much out of my dog's . But i figured since this female ia 3 years old someone on here would have bred a sibling and may have results good or bad what did and didn't work . Maybe I'll just have to take a chance pay a stud fee and keep all the pup's see what is produced from it if they are no good id burn the papers and give away to pet home's and start over .
Sounds like you need to give Mark Marshall a call. He has probably already done all of the research. I bet he knows exactly where all of her siblings are. Mark could greatly narrow down your list of dogs to hunt with and save you a lot of driving.
Be careful not to paint yourself in a corner by saying you want to hunt with the dog to see for yourself if he is what you want...
You never get that dog...you get what he reproduces and and when mixed with a female...it rarely will be the same. Many of the best dogs out there never produce anything noteworthy...that's just a fact. If they did...we would see world champions siring more world champions....and that's rarely the case. Most really good reproducers are not/were not even proven and identified until they were old or dead. And an old dog may not look near as good as he did in his prime. Personally, I would much rather hunt with a potential studs offspring than the stud himself if he was old and not at his peak. This will give you a better picture of what you might get if you breed to him. Winner to winner crosses are fine...but proven reproducers of winners to proven reproducers of winners produce better and more consistent results because some of the guesswork is eliminated.
I've hunted with the mother, father and Jesse's littermate to your dog so I know the dogs she comes from pretty well and I would have to agree with Jesse on his recommendation. If you want more strike, open trailing, intense drive and loud hard tree power...Aftershock or his brother Big D would be a really good bet to get you there.
Good luck with whatever way you go and congrats on your female...sounds like she has made a nice one!
