So I have an Idea......
I'm not sure if this is something that has already been brought up to UKC or on this forum but how about a rating system of some kind. Pretty much like on ebay where you ""rate"' the seller. Reviews as far as if the dog or merchandise was received as was described and so fourth. I have bought & sold my share of young dogs and finished dogs on this site and of course people, myself included are apprehensive about sending a chunk of hard earned money to some fella on the internet for the next world champ. It would be nice if we could check out the seller in advance and see how he or she's track record is. Its hard to truly know a guys reputation when often times they are 5 states away. We want to believe that people are good and truthful but unfortunately a bad apple can ruin the bunch. There will of course be buyers that are never ever satisfied but we can only do our best to describe whatever it is we are selling.
Any thoughts?

Would be nice , but I don't see it happening heck most won't even use their real names. That would be a start. Have them register with there real names same as on dog papers if you don't have a dog registered in your name then you can only look and not post, might stop some of the spam being put on here also

it's nice to have a tree dog but the name of the game is to have a coon in the tree.

That would be a huge win for UKC, more people would transfer dogs into their name so more money and like you said it would help with the spam
