Alpha screen replacement

Does anyone know if the screen can be replaced on the Alpha 100?
Dinged mine up right in the center. Still works but causes a few problems.

Send it to garmin. 99.00 and they'll send you a refurbished one.

Just got one back from Garmin that had this problem when it was new. Garmin said it would have cost $130.00 if it hadn't been covered by the warranty.
