T5 collar question

I got a 430 with t5 collars I can have my dog or dogs on a leash headed to truck and it will say they are treed it seems to do this often I can watch and see they are moving and it will say treed question is are there something wrong with my collars or handheld or they just that sensitive

I have actually never looked at mine when I had the dogs on a leash...don't really have a reason to. They are on a leash and I don't need the tracker to tell me anything. I think it is doing that because what says they are treed {or on point} is two things. One is when the collar and the handheld are not moving in relation to each other.
If you are standing in the woods and the dog is not moving it reads this as the same if both of you are moving together in the same direction and speed.
The other thing that reads "treed" is the switch in the collar that activates when the dog is upright on the tree. I don't know if your handheld has that capability, but the Alpha will vibrate to alert you and on the screen say "on point" {the dog is not moving in relation to the handheld and he is on all fours} or "treed" {the dog is not moving in relation to the collar and the collar is not vertical around his neck but closer to horizontal because the dog is standing on the tree}
I could be wrong, but I think this is how it works. Again, I don't know if the 430 differentiates between treed and on point.
