Fire
Nothing like coming home and seeing to police cars in your driveway. After a couple mins we realize that the woods behind the house was on fire. It didn't get close to the house but it very well could have. They brought in a Dozer to make a path so it will burn out. On the plus, I have plenty of ins

We lost everything to a fire once. The day before the fire i thought i had enough insurance to replace everything we had twice over. After the fire we soon found out how fast everything we owned added up! Its amazing when you add up the cost of everything you own!! Never enough! Especially if you dont have ryder ins on guns and collectables!
Strokin, that's fantastic they got it contained before it got your house. Yrs ago, the neighbors started a brush fire that got away from them. I looked out the window and saw a wall of fire heading our way. There was a firetruck parked in the front yard. Fortunately for us, the fire came up to our lane and my father-in-law's hay field and just stopped.
PM, sorry for your loss, a former co-worker that lost everything in a fire told me it was almost as bad as a death of a close relative. A friend that lost everything in a fire was lucky to get out alive.
Strokin,
Are ya sure they just wasn't putt'in under real close surveillance?
Kidding aside, glad it wasn't as serious as it could have been.

I thought about taking a can of gas and pouring it back to the fire. LOL. I'm I have good ins. Neighbor said he was getting ready to get my dogs. Good thing it's not some of the ones I had in the past. They might have ran him out of the kennel.
The fire really didn't get as close as they told me but still if someone hadn't have called the fire department, no telling what could have came of it.
