Tracking devices

Garmin astro or Alpha? What's your choice and why? Looking to upgrade from my 220.

Two questions you ask yourself that help solve this problem.

Do you use or feel the need for a training collar. If you do then the ALPHA is the answer.

Do you hunt with friends and want to track their dogs. It the answer is yes then you have to get compatible handhelds. The astro 430 and ALPHA 100 are compatible while the Astor 320 is not compatible with the 430 or ALPHA 100.

Now if you are down to the 430 or ALPHA then you have to take into consideration of the touchscreen of the ALPHA. Many love it while some still prefer the push buttons of the Astor 430 similar to what the 320 and 220 had.
