Rabies Clinic

Thanks to all who helped and attended. It sounded like there were a lot of coon treed and coyotes caught in the backroom by grey haired hunters after they got their dogs vaccinated.

The vaccination was a week later this year because our vet Nick Wellman's wife had a baby girl last Friday named Gracie and that is more important than dogs any day. A special thanks to Dr. Wellman for donating his services and to Halley Scace who is going to school be a vet and helped fill syringes and checked paper work.

There were 290 dogs vaccinated in about 3 and a half hours. That is not the record, but very good. I think the record was 349 dogs in 4 hours with two vets.
Thanks again to all that helped. The event gives the Public a positive image of the hunters in our area.

Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. I'm especially thankful for good health and the privileges that I have to hunt because of the sacrifices of our military. Thanks to all our service men and women.
See you next Saturday at the Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic.
