Anyone from TN, South of Nashville

Looking to relocate to Tennessee. South of Nashville.
How far south of Nashville would I need to look for a rural geographic location, good hunting land, and job opportunities in the law enforcement career field.

Thanks,

Nick Jennings

I'm

80 miles south west of Nashville. Sorry to tell you but you're going to be in steep hills and thin coon most places. There is some good hunting but most is private. Where exactly are you locating and I can tell u more or hook you up with someone

North of Nashville

Your best bet would be north of Nashville. Springfield has some good hunting.
Or southeast Manchester has some good flat hunting.

But almost everywhere in Tennessee the coons are thin. Coon dogs can still get one treed.

I am 50 miles east of Nashville in a small town called Woodbury. Murfreesboro is 19 miles away and has plenty of job opportunities.

I have some flat hunting with thin coons and some steep hills with quite a few coons. It's so rough most won't even hunt it.

You would be welcome here if you want to hunt. Most folks will let you hunt private land as long as deer season is not going on. During deer season we have several WMA's and some other government land to hunt.
