X2

I would like to second that and also to their families who without their support it would make the job very tuff.

My thanks also. I have always regretted not taking a couple of years to serve our country instead of going straight to college. A regret I will have to live with. But I am very proud of our fighting men and women who have and continue to proudly serve in the U.S. military. You all have my utmost respect!

Todd don't feel that way, whatever past you chose is one of the many paths that helped contribute to and helped make America great. With you going to college and earning a degree and being involved in our sport you have directly helped our Veterans. UKC and other Kennel Clubs has hired Veterans and given us a sport where everyone comes together and enjoy each other and our dogs. There are many spokes in the wheel that turns America, each spoke is just as important as the other. When one spoke is removed that wheel weakens a little. So as a Veteran I salute the rest of America doing what they do to make America Great.

Veterans and Pork Rinds

I work with a Vietnam Vet every day. He has never talked about his service. ................... A couple of weeks ago I brought in a bag of bbq pork rinds in to work. I ask (Cisco) my co- worker to try some. He loved them and ask me were I bought them. I told him about the store and told him I would pick him up a bag when I thought about it. November 10 was the day I thought about getting Cisco his pork rinds on my way to work. I bought 2 bags for him. What happened later I did not expect. Lunch was about happen and told I Cisco I had something to give him for veterans day tomorrow. I pulled out the pork rinds and told him it is not much but thanks for your service. Cisco looked at the pork rinds and looked at me and said, thanks Stan nobody has ever gave me a gift for my service. I was then let in to his time in Vietnam, and realizing it was an honor. Not enough pork rinds in the world to re pay the debt.

I love this picture. When I was in Iraq the 2nd time we had 3 bomb sniffing dogs at the ECP. They were so disciplined.

Thanks to all our Veterans and the animals that served with them.. May God Bless All of You!

Thank you!

As the wife of a combat wounded veteran, I can only say from the bottom of my heart thank you to each and every one of you. Although my Marine is in heaven now, I'm so grateful for the freedoms he fought for and the sacrifices our soliders have made which allow us to live freely in this great country. So on this Veterans Day, God bless each of you and a humble thank you.

So proud!

and humbled ...

I would like to share with you that the handsome German Shepherd Dog used in our tribute to our veterans is none other than my very own dog, Pagos. http://www.ukcdogs.com/Web.nsf/News...1112016083958AM

Thank you to the staff for using him in this tribute. My late husband, Pete, would have been so proud. Again, thank you.

70 something years ago 18 year old men stormed the beaches into the face of almost certain death. Then young men were sent to fight bravely in Korea and Vietnam and the Middle East and other theaters across the world. Now a lot of young men and women are holding cry ins at university's and cannot function because they are so distraught over the election and burning flags on Veterans Day. Thank god for the courage of all the men and women that have served in our armed forces and provided the freedom we all enjoy you are appreciated.
