Buckshot doesn't love you. http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthrea...eadid=928462809

But that's just because more people read your threads than his whole website.

Well its OK for him not to love me and my possum dog , And I know he couldn't handle my poetic justice , I have for the love of my hounds ..

I might not have won , but I will be remembered as the dog who lost in the last 4 minutes because of a possum

Darrell

No questions or doubts, BP is absolutely the best Coon hound ever to finish 2 place in a World Champion Hunt. Make a Walker man go Black and never look back. Think you should just give me that ole possum dog! Dave

Thanks Dave .. Just to give you an update , between work and getting ready for the big money hunt coming up .. I am gutted , but my dog has given me a second youthful wind I feel like he wants more , I been pushing him hard for two months non stop , but being smart about the things he dealt with prior , he's totally been 100% accurate , I still feed him home cooked meals , I guess because I don't mind and he sure likes my cooking , I still feed him fungus fighting foods , not daily but 3-4 times a week, But it appears the hidiuos infection didn't effect his drive , his desire to please me or his heart ,, he still gets a bit winded and takes a little longer to recover , but I do keep in mind its only been two months , but over all I think its all good , him and I have a big test coming soon I just hope we can prevail and show people it wasn't a accident to be in the winner circle .. And thanks for the positive vibes your always given me .. Your friend Darrell

Darrell

Great news regarding BP. It definitely was not an accident for BP to be in the finals as he is all coon dog even when he isn't 100% healthy. Winner period! Go getum BP- will be pulling for you both to win. Dave

Every once in a while I wonder what was it made me start that thread many just flop without making a point I feel better about this one than any I have ever started. Many people have asked me why do you still talk about that old dog I have known in my lifetime really hard to please serious every night hunters some were really hard to get to know loners and all of them had a dog in their lifetime that when asked you could see the pride in their eyes you could tell that they would give anything to be able to cut that dog loose one more time y'all only see the half of it me and Darrell aggravate each other daily I know that Bp is darrells once in a lifetime dog and Darrell I want you to and win it all because that's what it's all about the love shared between man and dog you can't breed for it , you can't buy it that one moment in time enjoy it my freind : Robert Hitt
