skunks

What can I do to get rid of the skunk odor my dogs ran one down a couple nights ago and they stink. Is there a good shampoo or neutralizer for them and how can I wash my dans bibs to get the smell off?

For the dogs i'd use Skunk Off shampoo if you can find it. I also find soaking collars in Skunk Off shampoo & water takes some of the smell of the collars too.
I had no luck getting skunk smell off my bibs, ended up throwing them out & buying a new pair.

skunk

You can try mixing a little peroxide, baking soda, and a splash of dish detergent

Yep and we threw in some tomato juice. Took all the skunk smell away, Ruby slept in the house that night. ... Had to take her collar back off because we didn't wash it.

Yes, the dawn, peroxide and baking soda will work.

Try to picture this a Mammalogy course has students pick up road kills to make study skins and museum mounts. All the road kills completely fill a chest freezer. Some one unplugs the freezer, and no one notices it until the smell starts to fill the classroom. Someone opens it to see what the heck is going on and there is 2 feet of soup in the freezer along with all the animals.

I get a message we have a problem. I walk into the room, and immediately know what's wrong. I plug the freezer back in, and let it refreeze. Now, how in the world do I clean this thing out???

I use this stuff:
https://www.amazon.com/X-O-Odor-Neu...e/dp/B0002XJ15U

oh and it works on skunk smell too!
